You have a 5x5 bingo grid that has numbers 1 thru 25. You are guaranteed to fill in a spot on this board. You also have a 4x4 bingo grid that has numbers 1 thru 16. You are not guaranteed to fill in a spot, because the bingo roller still has numbers 1 through 25.
Basically, 4x4 bingo has a 16/25 chance of a hit, 5x5 bingo has a 100% chance of a hit. Which one wins faster on average, and what's the distribution?
Everything is on a probability scale from 0 to 1. Red is the odds of winning in that many turns on the x axis for 5x5, whereas blue is 4x4.
